North Carolina Insurance License Classes. Welcome to InsurancePrep! Changes in license procedures effective May 11, 2012. You must apply for your license before you can schedule the State exam! Click on the Document Download page for summary of the new steps!  Since 2003, we have offered Life, Health Medicare/LTC, and Property/Casualty prelicense training in a traditional classroom setting. Check us first for a REAL LIVE CLASS! Successful insurance managers continually search for competent, trustworthy, and financially responsible agents. The best candidate in the world cannot obtain a license without passing a challenging exam on a wide range of insurance topics. In most cases, the candidate must complete 20 hours of  pre-license training for Life Insurance and 20 hours of pre-license training for Health Insurance. For the Senior Market an additional 10 hour certification class for the Medicare/Long Term Care exam plus Health license is required. Every five-day Life/Health class includes Life and Health training. A student may attend only the Life or Health portion, or the full class for both licenses. Although Property/Casualty has separate exams, we expect almost every student to attend the entire five-day class and take both State exams.   (Last updated: May 10, 2012.)

2012 Summer Schedule Now Available! **SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT**  RALEIGH CLASSES NOW AT  CAPMAR (Across from Chili's on Capital Boulevard)   Classes are now available in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Life/Health course is held twice a month, and the Medicare/LTC course is held once a month. Conducted by John Quick, a certified instructor with over 29 years experience in the insurance industry, including 16 years teaching pre-licensing and continuing education, most Life/Health classes are held at CAPMAR, 2nd Floor Training Room, 11550 Common Oaks Drive, Raleigh, NC 27614(across from Chili's) New! Medicare/LTC and P&C classes are also held at CAPMAR. We can arrange Life/Health, Medicare/LTC, or Property/Casualty classes  anywhere in North Carolina!
