Class Schedule
Classes are usually smaller than the average exam prep courses, so students have ample time to ask questions, and visit with the instructor at breaks and outside of class. The Life and Health classes are 40 hours, and the Medicare/LTC classes are 10 hours.
Effective January 1, 2008 the Life and Health licenses are separate.
Although most people will complete the same 40 hours, there will be a separate state exam for each license. We now offer Life Only and Health Only options (20 hours each). Health Only will be Days 1, 2, and 3. Life Only will be Days 1, 4, and 5. Life and Health will be Days 1-5.
Students are encouraged to make an individual review appointment during the week, plus are able to contact the instructor by phone or email.
The class final exam is reviewed individually at the end of the class. This way, the student knows his or her level of competency and can develop a strategy to improve in needed areas before taking the state exam. Once enrolled, a student can repeat any part of a course at no charge for 90 days after the course ends.
Supplemental practice tests are available, as well as a practice computer program at nominal cost.
